Gone for Good, by Harlan Coben

Full review

Harlan Coben is a master of suspense and mystery and this novel shows that he can deliver a powerful tale.

Will Klein is still dealing with the murder of his girlfriend from 11 years ago when new information shatters what he always believed. Then his current girlfriend, whom he is about to marry, disappears and is found murdered and dumped on the side of the road.

But nothing is as it seems, and can Will figure out the truth before the truth finds him?

Four of 5 stars.

  1. Does the old girl friend kill the new one? Or is he murdering his loves while in an altered state of mind?

  2. Neither, but that second one is similar to a novella I am currently working on. Where someone is killing his victims in an altered state.

  3. This is one of his best, Daniel; just read it this past summer. Coben's pretty much "can't lose" in my book.
